Cycling performance workshop

There will be a cycling performance workshop on Monday, July 19 from 7:00 – 8:00pm at the Central High School cellar. The cellar is located near the front main entrance of the school. Take the stairs to your left down to the lower level and enter through the doors. The cellar will be on your left.

The workshop is intended to be a free discussion led by Parkland Cyclists President Kurt Glore. The discussion will cover what to do before, during and after your ride to get the most out of the experience. Kurt will go into what he does to prepare for a casual ride, training ride and race. The discussion will include what to eat, when to eat, what to drink and how much, what stretches to do and how to handle the post ride routine. The information comes from many print and web sources as well as professionals who have passed the information along since Kurt started racing competitively.

This workshop is intended to help cyclists at all levels get the most out of their rides. If you would like to attend please RSVP as seating is limited.
